This is a non-denominational organization. St. Luke became a member organization in September, 2001, joining over 50 congregations in a ministry for the homebound elderly of our community. Caregiver volunteers provide the following services: transportation to medical appointments, food shopping, assistance with paperwork, friendly visits, phone calls and respite care. The most pressing needs are medical transporation and food shopping. An orientation is provided for all volunteers. We work with your schedule, for as little as two hours a month, you can make a difference in someone's life.
